KT was born in Torrance, California, yet grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina and received a degree in Radio, Television and Movie Production. In 2012, KT formed Windchime Pictures and began production on the award winning film, Redemption of the Commons. He is married and has three children.
KT was student body president of his high school in Charlotte, NC.
KT never intended to become a screenwriter. He stumbled upon it one day when he wrote one scene based on an idea he had. That scene turned into a script that was later optioned in Hollywood.
KT was an ordained minister for several years before moving into film. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA in 2006.
When KT was six years old, he pulled off an unassisted triple play on his baseball team.
