Biography

John is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America. At twenty, he directed and wrote his first feature film, Dearest Jane. Prior to that release he launched his own production company, Forever Safe Productions, where he created numerous shorts that played across the United States as well as abroad. John received his Bachelor of Arts in film & video with a concentration on directing from Columbia College Chicago. Over the course of those four years he created over twenty short films. He received the opportunity to work with seasoned actor Eddie Steeples on his thesis film, "Farewell, Charlie." John directed his second feature, Less Than 30, his final semester of his undergrad. He recently earned his MFA in Directing from DePaul University in Chicago where he directed the feature The Pale Man as his thesis. He is a true Midwest filmmaker who writes and directs from his past experiences.
