Co-starred in a radio breakfast show, "Tex and Jinx", with her longtime husband, John Reagan Tex McCrary , which eventually moved to TV in the late 40s.

Married to Tex McCrary with whom she co-hosted several television shows & specials including "Preview" in 1949 & "The Tex & Jinx Show" (aka "Closeup") in 1957-1958.

Was chosen the first "Miss Rheingold" in 1941, to advertise Rheingold beer.

Although separated for years, she died 29 days after her husband, Tex McCrary s death, remaining friends to the end.

She is the sister of the 1948 Wimbledon Tennis Champion Bob Falkenburg.

Passed away at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, which she and her husband, Tex McCrary , founded along with Mr. and Mrs. John Hay Whitney.

Two sons with Tex McCrary : John Reagan McCrary III and Kevin Jock McCrary.

Among the events she covered as a solo reporter were Grace Kelly s wedding in Monaco and Richard Nixon s tour to South America.

Son Kevin McCrary was featured on "Hoarders" {Kevin/Mary (#4.10)} in October 2011.

Discovered by the photographer Paul Hesse, who put her on the cover of American Magazine.

Left Chile due to political upheavals and, by 1935, attended Hollywood High School.

Entertained American troops during World War II (winning an Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal); in 1992, was featured on one of a series of commemorative stamps issued by Grenada (and its dependency Grenada-Grenadines) honoring the USO.

In the 1960s, she was a spokesperson for the American Gas Association and did several commercials promoting the use of gas.
