This Korean/Irish actor was born and raised in and around Detroit City. In his younger years he was constantly getting into fights until his parents enrolled him into a martial arts academy in hopes to curb his wild energy. Throughout his martial arts career he has competed and won numerous martial arts tournaments and would eventually fight in bare knuckle and in full contact matches in both the professional, and underground circuits. A rocky family upbringing, his love for fighting and fast muscle cars, make him reminiscent of James Dean. The drive for acting took over at Romeo High School and would eventually carry him all the way to Hollywood. Possessing a strange mix of quiet intensity and a quick wit, his ability to read into the emotional human mechanisms is rivaled only by his creativity. Years of studying martial philosophy and various styles has enabled this actor and writer to bring that extra spark to his roles, especially when action is involved. A quick study under some notable writers, Jin began his writing career and became a partner in YMK Films. Known for his unique writing style and basing scripts on dreams and nightmares, his fantastical imagination has laid the ground work for very creative, and visually arresting screenplays. His tireless efforts to educate himself in numerous areas of entertainment has made him a valuable asset in his projects in the fields of acting, writing, directing, producing, and fight choreography while forging a independent entertainment bridge between the United States and South Korea film markets. Despite his career on the rise he manages to stay very humble and attributes it heavily to his family and his martial arts teachings. Lately Jin has focused on producing specifically in the action , science fiction, horror, or any mix of the genres.
Has a strong desire to also work in South Korean cinema. He has been a long time fan of their films and drama series, and also being half Korean, would love to go and further his knowledge about his culture.
Attended the same high school as Kid Rock, and worked as a bouncer in the same clubs that Eminem held rap battles in Detroit.
Started studying martial arts since he was 4 years old. He has studied a total of 22 different forms of martial arts. He has also worked in a large number of night clubs/bars between Detroit and Los Angeles doing security and bodyguard work.
Jins hobbies include writing, martial arts, philosophy, and auto racing. Hes also a fan of anything to do with ghosts and zombie films.
Founded a company called "Guardians", alongside Martina Lotun (long time friend) which helps new talent in LA get established, find their way around, and most importantly not be taken advantage of.
Jin has become partners with director Young Man Kang in his production company YMK Films.
Jin was recently diagnosed with Chronic Nightmare Disorder, which serves as his platform for his visually arresting screenplays. He draws his script ideas and stories from his vivid and often frightening dreams.

Before pursuing entertainment, he was a former Olympic seed fighter in TaeKwon Do and excelled at racing. He wanted to use these skills as an undercover officer with the Detroit Police Department.
