Biography

Guitarist Jesse Johnson was a major player in The Time. When the band split, Johnson gained both commercial success and critical acclaim fronting his own group, Jesse Johnson's Revue. Although the group only recorded one album as the Revue, Johnson continued recording under his own name and the majority of the members of the Revue contributed to Johnson's subsequent solo albums. Johnson also enjoyed considerable success writing and producing work for artists as diverse as Cheryl Lynn, Ta Mara & The Seen, dáKRASH and Janet Jackson, amongst others.
