Biography

American radio program director, magazine editor/publisher, and record label executive (December 24, 1937 - November 28, 2013). Was a program director for 16 radio stations including WEBB (Baltimore, MD), WWRL (New York, NY), WCHB (Detroit, MI), KDIA (San Francisco, CA), and WVON (Chicago, IL). Headed a [l=MCA Records] label and ran their Black Music division. Also used the stage names "Jolly Jerry B" and "The Doctor of Radio" on air.
