Documented a cultural revolution. Shot far more than punk: from the Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, Police to rockabilly, ska, reggae, power pop/new wave and music and fashions that can't be categorized. Didn't impose her artistic eye, skills, training and education and turn the photos into posed artsy calculated compositions. Caught people in-the-moment, in the act, being natural and real. Passionate, enthusiastic, angry, depressed, energetic, cheery and stubborn. A visionary who was ridiculed and ignored but persevered, finding increasing acclaim and recognition in the entertainment and art worlds. Major exhibitions, books, inclusion in books, CDs, DVDs, documentaries and continual international publication from her photo archive and stories. BA in Art from CSUN; Master in Fine Arts from Cal Arts; Certificate in Computer Graphics, UCLA Extension. Exhibited other media since a child but, never studied photography!
