Biography

Lifetime member of the Actors Studio, and the third ever Australian to receive the life membership, Jeneffa Soldatic is a leading lady off Broadway, a renowned international acting coach and an epitome of international theatre. She appeared in the premiere of Al Takes A Bride at the Actors Studio in NYC, has toured the USA singing with the Polyphonic Spree and David Bowie, and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Curb Your Enthusiasm. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School on scholarship 2003 and appeared in the leading role of Vladimir in its all female production of Waiting For Godot. Jeneffa is recognized and recommended internationally as 'the actor's acting coach' for her unparalleled ability to nurture actors and accompany them on their journey as they unlock the artist. She is hailed by industry alumina, for her excellence in coaching, including producer Alison Owen, who recognizes Jeneffa as her preferred acting coach and one of her favorite actors,. Jeneffa has coached actors who have appeared in movies including Tomb Raider, Alcatraz, Hangover and Gangster Squad. Working internationally Jeneffa has extensive experience in film and TV with credits in the US, Australia and Europe. Work includes performances at Belvoir St Theatre, and with All Saints and Comedy Central pilot The Grand Disaster. Jeneffa is muse to international playwright Lupe Gehrenbeck, and together the two have founded 'Hook Productions' in NYC. Jeneffa has performed in their productions of Guardian Angel, Bolero and Alice in Teresa's Land which were all written for her by Lupe and staged in NYC. In April 2014 Jeneffa will reprise the role in Guardian Angel as part of the ONE Festival in New York. Jeneffa is a trusted script advisor and has own scripts in development. She has directed, produced and developed numerous theatre productions internationally, and many feature films, and has just directed the Australian premier of The Girl Who Loved The Beatles. In 2013 she co-developed and directed 'Be Careful What You Wish For' for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Jeneffa is filming a new comedy web-series "Strange LA" and will be directing two shows as part of the 2014 Hollywood International Fringe Festival.
