Jelka van Houten was born in Culemborg, Netherlands, on 1 September 1978, as the second daughter of Margje Stasse , when she was a set design student at the Dutch Film Academy.
Jelka is a Dutch actress, singer and set-designer.
Younger sister of Carice van Houten.
Daughter of Theodore van Houten and Margje Stasse.
Has 2 children with her husband Koppe Koppeschaar - a son and a daughter (b.2014).
