Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Jason Wiles grew up in Lenexa, Kansas. Undecided after high school and having passed up the opportunity to play college football, he began to work for the local Parks and Recreation Department. A year later the movie _Mr. & Mrs. Bridge his second feature film.
As a kid, Wiles was a self-described troublemaker with contempt for cops; now, of course, he plays one on "Third Watch" . His attitude toward the police has definitely changed.
In July 2001, he and his wife, Joanne, became parents. His daughters name is Georgia.
