Biography

Jason Lopez is the former Director and Lead Agent of DDO/The Movement Agency's Nashville/Atlanta office. He was with DDO/MTA for six years; the first three years were spent with the Las Vegas branch. While in Las Vegas; he booked talent with Reebok, Cirque du Soleil, High School Musical, Donnie and Marie Osmond, The Rio's 'Show in the Sky' and more. In 2010 he took over the struggling Nashville office and completely turned it around in a matter of months. Under his watch in Nashville, he opened the Atlanta Talent Division and Nashville Music and Commercial/Print Divisions. While in Nashville he has had talent booked on the Taylor Swift 'Speak Now' World Tour, The Footloose Movie, ABC's Nashville and numerous music videos and commercials. Before joining the DDO Las Vegas team, he spent his time working casino marketing and concert promotions for two popular Las Vegas resorts; Planet Hollywood and The Palms. He attended the University of Arizona; graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Entertainment Business and Marketing. He has traveled the country and brings a fresh dimension to his presentations and events. Presently as the Lead Talent Representative at JLM Talent Management, Jason is providing support and knowledge of the entertainment industry to his clients. Jason's vision is to extend beyond dance projects, by managing a group of top notch Actors and Children too.

Jason won an award in the theatre for, "The Lost Plays of Tennessee Williams," where he portrayed a neophyte boxer.

Jason was offered a wrestling scholarship. Instead of pursuing wrestling, he took off to New York City to continue working in theatre with $500 he won from a wrestling street bet.

He was offered a scholarship at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

Through Hunter College study abroad program, he studied pre and post revolutionary Cuban film and art for a semester in Havana, Cuba.

Won Best Actor at The Chelsea Film Festival for the lead role in the film PTSD. PTSD won Best Film at The Chelsea Film Festival.
