Biography

As an award-winning young filmmaker, Jason Eberly has directed a feature film and over a dozen narrative short films throughout the course of his budding career. Six of these films have appeared in over thirty international festivals, picking up a few awards along the way. In 2009 Jason's feature film debut, "Nero Bloom: Private Eye," was screened at an independent theater for two months and won Best Student Feature at the Cinema City Film Festival. Jason lives in Los Angeles and continues to develop and create films that integrate his artistic passions. In 2012 he directed his first post-collegiate project, a high budget short film titled "Niña Del Tango." Following premiers in Los Angeles and New York City, the film found success in the festival circuit, which included screenings at three Oscar-qualifying festivals and The Consulate General of Argentina in New York. With backing from private investors, Jason and a writer are now developing a tango feature-length film. Jason is also working under Emmy award-winning director Michael Spiller, assisting him with production on a current FOX television show and with future development for film and television.
