Biography

Having lived in the US for 5 years now, Jane was President of Discovery Channel US until 2007 where she re-positioned the Channel giving it a fresh voice leading it to record ratings. During her time at Discovery, Jane commissioned international hits like Man vs. Wild and worked for the British Film Institute and publications including The Guardian, Sight and Sound and Cosmopolitan. In 2008 Jane created Nutopipa, a TV production company based in London and Washington committed to thinking big and focused on ambitious factual series of all types, as well as factually-inspired drama. In line with its commitment to scale, and new technological approaches to programme making, the company's first project is the 12-hour America: The Story of US - described by the History Channel as 'a groundbreaking initiative of epic proportions'. The company is also on current development of projects for BBC1, BBC 2, Discovery Channel US, and ITV.
