James David Baxter was born in Columbia, South Carolina on November 16th, 1962. He began his writing career with a series of paranormal articles as "The Ghost Hunter" in the early 1990's for Carolina Style Magazine, investigating the famous ghost stories of the Carolina's. He followed his days as The Ghost Hunter with his first novel, The Revelation , a small horror zine dedicated to the promotion of aspiring horror fiction writers. He founded the Varsity Sports Journal in 1995, a magazine covering high school sports that was catapulted into success with the explosion of the internet. In 2015, he recommitted himself to his writing career and has written two books and contracted with Stellium Books; the first, "Hauntings: Piercing the Darkness" is scheduled to be released in September of 2016 followed by "The Revelation, Siege of the Dark God" in Spring of 2017.
