Yvónne López Arenal was born in Havana, Cuba. Since 1978 to 1992 she has played leading roles in more than 20 Cuban and classical plays. Since 1993 in the United States she played the leading role in "It Happened in Havana" by Raúl de Cárdenas, teatro Havana Fama directed by Alberto Sarraín.
