Her film career began at the same time like her theater career.
She had her great breakthrough with her role in "Der Postmeister" (40) at Heinrich Georges side. From now on she belonged to the most demanded stars.
Hilde Krahl became a versatile actress after the war who knew how to play in nearly all genres. At the theater as well as in movies she got demanding roles she always fulfilled.
After her final examination of her acting education she made her debut at the Cabaret "Literatur am Naschmarkt" in 1936. Eventually followed an engagement at the Theater in der Josefstadt where she played from 1936 to 1966. Besides it she also appeared in Berlin.
Hilde Krahl donated her body to medical science.
