Described as a "dancer and impresario," Henry Da Silva came to the United States in 1920, and with his wife ran a dancing school on Cahuenga in Los Angeles for over twenty-five years. He also served as an advisor in films involving topics concerning the country of Portugal and the Portuguese language.
