In the late 1920s, Bergman operated Henrys Delicatessen, a restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. In business only for a few years, it was financed with help from his friend Charles Chaplin.
Comic actor from silents who later assisted Chaplin in directing some of the latters films.
Began as a member of "Gus Edwards Kids" troupe.
Was credited with introducing many Irving Berlin tunes, including "Alexanders Ragtime Band"; his picture appeared on the sheet music.
