Hayley McLaughlin, born Hayley Melissa McLaughlin, is a Scottish Film and Television actress is best known for playing Ariel in "The Librarians". Hayley was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland. Hayley holds a Green card for the US and now resides in Los Angeles. Hayley is recognized as a BAFTA Los Angeles Newcomer 2016. Conservatory trained, Hayley was granted a Scholarship to attend the 'American Academy of Dramatic Arts' , Los Angeles; she also has training from L.A.M.D.A. UK. Hayley has just been recognized by the prestigious BAFTA LA program 2016, and looks forward to a long career ahead of her in the US.

Hayley attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, California where she completed an Associate of Arts Degree in Acting. The college has prestigious alumni including Robert Redford, Kim Catrall, Paul Rudd, Grace Kelly and Danny Devito plus many more stars. The school alumni have been nominated for 96 Oscars, 240 Emmys and 84 Tony awards and counting.

Born in Scotland to Ann and Jim; Hayley has one older sibling, Leanne.

Hayley lived most of her life in Linlithgow, Central Scotland in between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Linlithgow is the Birthplace of Mary Queen Of Scots.

Hayley has been accepted in to the prestigious BAFTA LA program 2017, and looks forward to a long journey ahead of her in the US.
