Harry Edison was a composer, songwriter , appeared in "Jazz at the Philharmonic", and made many records. He joined ASCAP in 1959, and his other popular instrumental compositions include "Mutton Leg", "Jive at Five", "Beaver Junction", "Center Piece", "Shorty George", "Pound Cake", "Sweets", and "Evil Blues".
