Biography

Hans Olden was an Austrian singer, stage and film actor. From 1909, he studied acting in Vienna with Otto Rub. He worked as a singer and Heurigenunterhalter. In 1911 he made his theater debut at the Deutschen Theater in Hermannstadt and also played in Karlsbad, Teplitz-Schönau, Graz and Prague . He also worked for television and went back to the stage at the Renaissance and Volkstheater in Vienna. He died after a long illness in the house of his parents in Franzhausen.

He took acting lessons and had first appearances as a singer at smaller events. In the next years he acted on different stages in Karlsbad, Graz and Prague. Later followed regular engagements at the Deutsches Theater in Vienna where he remained active till to the 60s.
