Scottish director and writer, born in Edinburgh. Of her short films, 'In the Mood' won Silver at Mumbai Ficts Fest, 'Sheila' won Best Director at Rome's Donne in Corto Film Festival, and the half hour 'Night Swimmer' won Grand Prix at Vendôme Film Festival. Her feature screenplay, 'Fireworks', co written with Jonathan R. Hall, won 2 Hollywood screenwriting awards: Grand prize in the American Screenwriters Association International Script Competition and Silver in the Page Awards for Drama. She is also author of 'Secret Edinburgh, an Unusual Guide', part of the award winning Jonglez city guide series.
Has a younger sister, Hollis Robinson , and a little brother named Ben.
She got into acting when she was 7 years old.
