H.Habib was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in the suburbs of the D.C area . When he was 15, his family moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where he fell in love with cinema and started making films. He graduated from Webster University in Geneva, with a BA in Media and Communications. He had a stint in advertising which he quickly stopped to pursue film. He enrolled at The London Film School and received an MA in filmmaking in 2013. He then moved to LA where he started his company, Clutch the Ground Productions. He has since made fifteen shorts and seven commercials. He has just moved the company to New York City, where he plans on making his next short, Lamia. Clutch the Ground Productions has grown to produce films and commercials. His short film, Family Escape, premiered at the New York City International Film Festival; Audrey at the Portland Film Festival; and Love at the London Short Film Festival.
