In an interview with Michael Barnum for a Classic Images article (November 2009), Gregory stated that he auditioned to be a Mousketeer for "The Mickey Mouse Club" in the mid-1950s but was turned down because his singing/dancing abilities were not "good enough".

Was selected to appear on Art Linkletter s kids TV interview show but contracted the measles and couldnt go on.

He and sister Sharyn Moffett both had parts in a radio version of "A Christmas Carol". He played Tiny Tim.
