Biography

Serving as the connective tissue between art & commerce for major motion picture studios, filmmakers, distributors, and independent production companies, Brooklyn-born and raised on Long Island, Gregg Brilliant began his career in the late 1980s upon moving to Los Angeles, landing an internship with Paramount Pictures while studying journalism and film at California State University. Over the next two decades, he would become an integral part of the publicity team at Paramount to be elevated through the ranks to serve the studio as vice president, involved with hundreds of successful launches and campaigns ranging from James Cameron's Titanic to Paramount's MTV, Nickelodeon, and SNL branded movies. Twentieth Century Fox appointed Gregg, vice president, corporate communications & publicity in 2006 where he worked across divisions and departments on all TCF titles and corporate initiatives through 2010. As an independent unit publicist since 2010, Gregg has worked alongside filmmakers, movie studio teams, executives and independent production companies on impactful campaigns for films shooting on location across Asia, Europe, Australia, Latin America, the United States and Canada. He also consults on initiatives for studio and indie projects in their release campaigns, as well as pre-release and sales phase. He has ghostwritten scores of studio production notes and contributed to numerous film campaigns with written and digital marketing materials, as a photo editor, and EPK field production.
