In addition to being a filmmaker, he has a background in Payload and Ground Systems, having worked extensively as an Electrical Engineer in the Satellite Industry for Boeing, Northrop Grumman, TRW, and Hughes Space & Communications.
Has an MFA from California State University Northridge, where he has also taught undergraduate screenwriting in the Cinema & Television Arts department.
