Biography

G.R. Claveria is creator of Shockfest Film Festival and Mockfest Film Festival of Hollywood. He is a nationally award-winning multi-media producer and devoted teacher. His vision, leadership, and creativity are evident in his innovative projects and passion for academic excellence. As an independent writer/producer/director/actor, Claveria has accumulated over two dozen awards for his thought provoking short films and received a Senatorial Citation for writing from Ohio Senator Tom Roberts. In 2006, his film "a Study in the Orientation of Han Sum" won "Best Mockumentary" at the New York Independent Film and Video Festival. Claveria is also an award winning songwriter, earning his second national Telly Award in 2004 for his original musical composition "Loving a Child Makes a World of Difference". Claveria is currently the co-founder and co-director of both Shockfest and Mockfest Film Festival. Claveria is constantly adding to his prolific portfolio, all the while inspiring students to build innovative portfolios of their own.
