Usually plays supporting characters in Hong Kong movies. His only leading roles to date are Zhuo niu zi ku de zhong kui (The Blue Jean Monster) and Jing zhuang qing bu zi jin (Secret Lover).
Has repeatedly appeared in supporting roles (often as villains) in Yun-Fat Chow films including Ying hung boon sik II (A Better Tomorrow II), Lo foo chut gang (Tiger On Beat), Gong zi duo qing , (The Greatest Lover) and Dip hyut shueng hung (The Killer).
Unusually tall by Chinese standards. Was perhaps the most intimidating villain of the eighties because of his height.
