Thin, intense, antsy and often unnerving character actor Frank Doubleday usually portrayed creepy villains in both movies and TV shows, alike, from the mid-70s up until the early 90s. Doubleday made his film debut as an aggressive switchblade-wielding punk thug in the hilariously raunchy comedy _The First Nudie Musical . Outside of acting, Frank Doubleday has also directed stage plays and now currently teaches acting at the Hollywood Court Theater.
During his career in television, he was often cast to play villains. His menacing performance in Escape from New York drew critical praise.
In recent years, has concentrated on working in theater, often as director.
