Biography

François-Victor Hugo, born October 28, 1828 in Paris, where he died of tuberculosis 26 December 1873, is the fourth of five children of Victor Hugo and Adèle Foucher. It is known for its French translation of the works of William Shakespeare, the complete series was published in 18 volumes between 1859 and 1866.
