Biography

Franchesca Lantz was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as Franchesca Emma Elder. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University in 2005, and furthered her education to receive Film degree in 2007. Franchesca worked at Fox Sports before moving on to work at The Collective, Tower Hill Entertainment, Mandate Pictures, Movie Package Company, and currently works as Director of Creative Affairs & Acquisitions at After Dark Films. In 2014, Franchesca was named Director, Creative Affairs & Development for the newly formed Cinelou Films. Franchesca oversees coordinating assets with graphic designers and trailer houses, provides creative direction and writes copy for one-sheets, heads the internship program, filters potential projects in development, and handles all in-house graphic design projects for Cinelou Films. Cinelou completed its first film in 2014 entitled Cake, starring Jennifer Aniston, Adriana Barraza, Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington. Cake earned nominations from Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, and Critics Choice in 2015, as well as bringing awareness to the issue of chronic pain.
