American film editor
American editor, noted for his work with John Frankenheimer and John Sturges on many outstanding action films of the 1960s. He was long employed at MGM (1939-59) and had perhaps his most fruitful spell towards the latter part of his career at United Artists (1960-65).
As a student, he was a top track and field athlete at the University of Southern California.
