Saudi-German director & producer Fahmi Farahat graduated in 2006 from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Radio, TV & Film. In the States, Farahat produced and directed many award winning films shot on 16mm, 35mm, HD as well as Red. He also served as an editor and Assistant Director on multiple independent narrative feature films. In 2012, Farahat relocated to Saudi Arabia hopping to become a critical part of the Saudi and GCC Cinema movement. His work includes a number of award winning narratives and documentaries. Since 2013, Fahmi Farahat lives in the island of Bahrain and works as a production director for Saudi Aramco, one of the worlds largest oil and energy companies.
