Erick Sermon (born November 25, 1968 in Bay Shore, New York) is an African-American hip hop musician and record producer. He is known as one half of hip-hop group EPMD. He's done production for artists like Das EFX, En Vogue, SWV, Keith Murray, Redman, Method Man, LL Cool J, Jay-Z and many more.
In 1992 went solo and started Def Squad with Redman and Keith Murray
In 1988 he started the group EPMD (Erick and Parrish Makin Dollars) with Parrish Smith
