Biography

Eric is a classically trained actor from an entertainment family, and an experienced producer and director. After many years on stage and a number of major supporting and leading roles in small-budget films, Eric's career took a leap in the right direction as Frank Mann in the critically Acclaimed comedy Web-series "Crewing Up" by Fried Egg Films, LLC, and again as secret service Agent David Killjoy in the popular sci-fi web-series "Zhon: The Alien Interviews" which he also co-produced. Eric continued to star in a number of independently funded projects while his producing and directing credits also mounted. In late 2015, Eric played legendary law man Wyatt Earp for Fox News' top rated historical drama series Legends and Lies: The Real West, executive produced by Bill O'Reilly and produced by Warm Springs Productions with Lionheart Film Works exposing him to a national TV audience in an iconic role. Believing strongly in the value of discipline and positive leadership Eric has formally trained in a number of well known best practice business philosophies and devoted over 11 years to the serious study and teaching of martial arts. Eric is a partner in three production companies RobEric Media, LLC, which, produced "Zhon: The Alien Interviews", feature film company, Picture Arizona, LLC, and branded entertainment company, Seelie Studios, LLC A former President of the Board of Directors of the nonprofit Independent Film Association of Southern Arizona, Eric is frequently quoted in the media regarding his thoughts an expertise in the film industry and the effect of multimedia on the economy. Eric's growing list of credits as an actor in feature films, web-series, etc, and as a film activist, producer and director, continue to increase his notoriety and popularity among his growing international fan base. He lectures frequently at sci-fi/fantasy conventions, Comicons and film festivals.

Eric is a master of vocal impersonations and can do hundreds of vocal characterizations and realistic incidental sounds and musical instruments using only his voice.

A fan of African style pop music, Eric also manages popular African musical group K-Bass and Farafina Musiki, headlined by sports star turned singer Bassirima Soro (aka K-Bass).

Eric can frequently be seen wearing a black fedora with a wide brim at events and conventions. This is an homage to the great movies stars of the 1940s.

One of Erics teachers in voice over was the late Lucille Bliss, best known as the voice of Smurfette in the 1980s NBC Saturday Morning Cartoon series.

One of Erics mentors was the late Paul Mantee, best known for his role as Cmdr. Christopher Kit Draper in the 1964 cult sci-fi classic Robinson Crusoe on Mars.

Eric was trained by his parents, actor Paul Schumacher and actor and voice coach Joan Schumacher. His training began at the age of 6.

Several of Erics biggest roles were won through mass auditions.
