Biography

Eric Davis was raised in Southwest Philadelphia, PA. Eric had a hard upbringing in life but he never let that get him down. Eric excelled and went on to be a very successful Police officer for a local home town. He also serves as a Paramedic providing for the community. Eric loves to entertain and lives to make people laugh. He is the life of the party. Although he already has a very active, fast paced, busy life, he has always dreamed of acting. Eric was first bitten by the acting bug in 2006 when he had a seven second slot as a Paramedic in a local hospital commercial. From there, Eric played the role of a police officer in two episodes of a local TV series "The Drive" that he hopes will get picked up. In 2014, Eric had his breakthrough landing his first credit and had the chance to share the stage with Eric Roberts in "Days of Power". Later in the year Eric was fortunate enough to work with his son Eric Joseph Davis on his first acting role in NBC's "The Mysteries of Laura". Eric now lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia in a small town in Delaware County, PA. Although Eric already wears many hats he hopes to add one more. He hopes that his life experiences and love of entertaining people will help him to excel in his acting career.

Outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds (1984-1991 and 1996), Los Angeles Dodgers , Detroit Tigers (1993-1994), Baltimore Orioles (1997-1998), St. Louis Cardinals (1999-2000) and San Francisco Giants .

Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 8th round of the 1980 draft. Hit .269 with 282 home runs in 1626 games in 17 Seasons with the Reds, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Detroit Tigers, the Baltimore Orioles, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the San Francisco Giants. Member of the 1990 World Series Champion Cincinnati Reds.

He was inflicted with colon cancer in 1997. With surgery to remove an orange size tumor and chemotherapy Eric returned to baseball and had one of the best seasons of his exciting career.

Retired from baseball.

Graduated for Penn State University with a Landscape Architecture Degree.

Was a performer for Cirque du Soleil and has a traveling one man show called "Red Bastard".
