Biography

This multi-talented artist began her singing career as an opera singer, studying under Sun Aria Winner Cavell Poli. As a young artist Emma appeared on several Australian TV shows as a vocalist either in groups on as a solo artist. These shows included The Ray Martin Midday Show, Bert Newtons midday show and Pot Luck. In 1995 Emma began to pursue popular and jazz music, creating and appearing in several bands such as Sophisticated Ladies, Lush Vibe and her own trios and duos. In 2001 Emma released Love Rhapsody, her first jazz album. In 2010 Bossa Eyes, her second album was released, with a strong focus on the inspiration of Carlos Jobim and the Bossa Nova movement. This album was met with critical acclaim. In 2013 Cherish, her jazz fusion album was released. This album was also critically acclaimed.
