Emily Blickem hails from Cowden, Illinois by way of Ely, UK. Schooled in the shadow of the 'Ship of the Fens', in the flat lands of East Anglia, her summer visits back home to the cornfields of the Mid West provided a contrasting childhood experience, an experience that would later vividly shape the characters and back drop for her writing. As a director, she gained much success with the seaside musical, One Little Step, and following a fantastic period of writing, directing and producing short films, her first feature screenplay is now in development. She also heads up mad&bad films and produces movies, music videos and much more.
