In just twelve short months of arriving in Los Angeles, Elle J. James had made an indelible mark in the entertainment industry by utilizing a combination of that same fearlessness, natural talent, steely determination, and world class training! Her journey began when she audaciously headed to New York City to pursue her acting and singing career! A chance meeting, her raw talent, and a warm soulful sound earned Elle a role as one of the singers/cast-members of the award winning Off-Broadway musical, "Gospel Is", produced by pioneer Vy Higginsen of the "Mama I Want To Sing" Off-Broadway musical. This valiant artist continues to push boundaries at an unprecedented pace, appearing in several independent feature films, a short for a filmmaker's challenge, and a highly anticipated "come-back" music video, "Kiss Goodbye", with R&B crooner Avant! She most recently landed yet another role in a major feature film alongside some of the most talented names in the business... a testament to just how focused, resilient, and dedicated Ms. James truly is! Filming begins Spring 2011.
