Diego discovered his passion for filmmaking in Cali, Colombia, his hometown. While majoring in Journalism he helped create and promote the 'Intravenosa Film Festival' of the 'Autonomous Western University'. He was later invited to be the cameraman of several artistic and narrative productions around Colombia, in which he learned little by little the process of filmmaking. In 2009 he decided to move to China and as a Media Creative Consultant for the 'Colombian Chinese Chamber of Commerce', he had the chance to explore the ancient country and discover its cultural richness and vast filmmaking history. In 2011, Diego moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his Bachelor degree in Fine Arts and Filmmaking, which he completed in August 2014. Medley, his short film, got accepted for the Short Film Corner at the 68th edition of Cannes Film Festival. He is an award winning Producer/Director living in Los Angeles.
