Worked with the Moody Institute of Science in the late 1940s and formed his own film company, Great Commission Films, in 1949.

Served in the Army Air Force during WWII as a navigator on a B-24 bomber. He was shot down over Germany and spent eight months in a prisoner of war camp.

He died at a hospice in Westlake, CA.

He had two children with his wife, Wanda: son, Rick, and daughter, Sylvia. He also had four grandchildren.
