Derek was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. He is the son of Edward and Linda Crowe. In October of 2015, Derek moved to the San Francisco bay area with his wife and two children. Although he moved out here seeking a career in music and songwriting, he became interested in acting after his first experience in a theater play. Since then, Derek has studied acting at the Joie Landeaux Acting Theater, and F.A.B.A directed by Celik Kayalar. Derek continues to pursue various roles and has completed a number of short film productions.
