Demon Realm was formed in 1997 in Denmark by Sharund (vocals) and Nocturnaz (guitar). Same year they were formed they released their first demo, "Burning the Angel Wings". In 1998 Astraborgnasyl (drums) joined the band and they recorded the second demo, "Upon the Altar of Darkness". "...Of Chaos Damnation and War" came in 1999 and was released through Drakkar Productions. In 2001 split, "Awaiting The Glorious Damnation Of Mankind", with Axis of Advance, F.R.O.S.T. and Garwell was done. After the release Astraborgnasyl was asked to leave since his lack of dedication. In 2004 the full-length album, "The Power of Legend", which featured Atziluth (of Ravishing and Blackhorned) on drums.
