Was the first African-American woman performer on "MADtv" .

Was the second longest-running cast member on "MADtv". Michael McDonald joined the cast in the fourth season and stayed until season thirteen, making his a nine-season run. Wilson joined the original cast in 1995 and left after her eighth season.

When she guest-starred on Season 10 of "MADtv" , only three out of the four sketches that she taped were actually aired. The one that remained unaired was a new parody sketch of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

"MADtv" decided to air her "Whitney and Bobby" sketch (parodying Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown ) later on in the tenth season (on 14 May 2005, to be exact). Even though she had done all of her sketches in one taping, "MADtv" made it look as if she came back for a second guest appearance.

Although Wilson shared her home with two boa constrictors, two cats, and two scorpions, all have since passed away. She hasnt been without a companion animal in over 27 years, and continues her companionship with a Columbian Tegu lizard named "Lizard".

Wilson has quite a number of tattoos, extending from her wrists to her back.

Shes a deeply spiritual person and even does spiritual counseling and life coaching, motivational speaking, and massage therapy. She volunteers with a number of nonprofit organizations and charities and has been doing so for over 16 years. Wilson sees her spirituality as a responsibility to the world and all living beings in it.

Wilson began riding a motorcycle in 2008 and counts riding as one of her favorite pastimes ever.

Wilson has a strong affinity and fascination with the the paranormal and all forms of psychic phenomena, as well as the subjects and studies of the forensic sciences and cultural anthropology. Shes even been part of a celebrity paranormal team, on the VH1 special "Celebrity Paranormal Project" with Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Evander Holyfield and Nikki Ziering.
