Lovely and sultry brunette Margaret Dawn Richard was born on March 5, 1936 in Los Angeles, California. She's of Osage Indian descent. Her father was a former silent movie stunt pilot. Dawn's family moved to Palm Springs, California, where her father built five motels. Richard acted in a high school stage production of "Meet Me in St. Louis". She made her film debut in an uncredited bit part as a Pharoah's daughter in the big budget biblical epic _The Ten Commandments in 1958 and had three children with him prior to divorcing Wolper in 1969. Dawn now lives in Burbank, California.
As a baby, she was registered with Central Casting and listed as "Baby Dawn Richard" in the Childrens Casting Directory for January-March, 1938.

Due to Hurricane Katrina, Dawn and her family now reside in Baltimore, Maryland.
Her mother owned a dancing school where Dawn spent much of her childhood developing her skills at choreography and singing.
Dawn draws anime, and one drawing in particular caught the attention of Diddy. When asked what the characters name was she replied "Danity Kane". It was a female superhero she drew while Danity Kane was in the studio, and to Diddy this represented the girls of Making The Band 3. Diddy then decided it would be the name of the group.
Went to De la Salle High school in New Orleans with Marquise Hill, an NFL defensive lineman who passed away in the summer of 2006, and Holland Diaz stunt double for Tobey McGuire in Spider-Man 3.
