Biography

David Leo Schultz is a filmmaker best known for his movies “Ragamuffin” and “Brennan.” He is also a follower of Jesus, husband, father, actor, comedian, screenwriter, vagabond evangelist, and now author. David is busy. Originally from Indiana he moved to California sometime after graduating from Anderson University with a B.A. in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Bible and World Religions. After arriving in Los Angeles David studied with some of the top improvisation and sketch comedy schools in the country like Groundlings, Improv Olympic, and Upright Citizens Brigade. David has be featured in movies alongside actors such as Jake Johnson, Aubrey Plaza, Chevy Chase, Burt Reynolds, Fred Willard, Chris Kattan, and Michael Madsen. In 1993 David founded a simple sketch comedy team called, “The Color Green” with the hope and prayer to spread the love of Christ through comedy and preaching. In 2005 this simple dream evolved into a film production company called, “Color Green Films” which has made, to date, five full-length feature films. The heart and passion behind all that David does is to point anyone and everyone to the greatest reality that has ever been or ever will be and that is: Jesus Christ is crazy about you. Jesus is head over heels in love with you. Yes, you. The one reading this. So much so, that “while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you.”
