David Herdies founded Momento Film in 2011 with the vision to create compelling and surprising documentaries and feature films commenting on our time. From the outset, the aim has been to be an independent platform for new talents with challenging and brave film projects. In the selection of films and directors, he has always been driven by a clear principle: to have faith in the intelligence, taste and integrity of the audience. David Herdies' films have been screened on festivals and TV all over the world. He has participated in international co-production workshops such as Eurodoc, ACE and Twelve for the Future. Among his prior films can be mentioned The Guerillason by Cannes-awarded director Frida Kempff. David is a board member of Nordisk Panorama and Tempo Documentary Film Festival. He was the chairman of the national institutional distributor Filmcentrum Riks between 2011-2012.
