His father, Abraham Pudi, is Indian. His mother, Teresa (Komendant), is Polish; she was born in Pokosno, Poland, to Marianna (Organek) and Boleslaw Komendant. Dannys parents met in an English as a Second Language class in Chicago, Illinois. They are divorced.
