Biography

Daniela Pestová is best known for her work in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition and as a Victoria's Secrets lingerie model. She earned on covers the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in 1995, 2000 and 2006 and appeared regularly in the Swimsuit editions for over a decade. Peztová appeared in three Victoria's Secret Fashion shows between 1998 and 2001 and was named a Victoria's Secret Angel in 1998. She has also graced the covers of such notable body-centric magazines as "GQ," "Marie Claire," Cosmopolitan," "Glamour," "Shape," "Fitness," and "Bikini." In 1994, she signed with L'Oreal to be their print model and spokesperson. In 1997, she signed with Victoria's Secret. Pestova earned the nickname "The Chameleon" for her ability to constantly change her look. She was born Daniela Pestova on October 14, 1970 in Teplice, Czechoslovakia. She was discovered at age 19 at a theater in Prague by Madison Modeling Agency's Dominique Caffin. Pestová married former Fashion Café CEO Tomasso Buti in 1995; the couple had a son named Yannick Fausto in 1996 and divorced in 1998. On July 21, 2002 Pestova gave birth to daughter Ella with present partner, musician Pavol Habera. She speaks fluent Czech, French, Russian, and Italian.
