Daniel Hirsch is an established makeup artist and character designer based in Hollywood, CA. Working in illustration, story boarding, puppetry, and scenic painting he also specializes in makeup effects, props and costume design. Hirsch has worked on projects for theatres, operas, movies and T.V. shows including HBO's "True Blood" and ABC's "Off the Map". His wide range of styles and skills have earned him several awards for his commitment and eye to detail and many publications in Southern California media.
Daniel volunteers at the Bunny Bunch chinchilla rescue and is an avid activist for the placement of abandoned and mistreated pets.
Daniels first experience with makeup was when was playing a troll in a kids stage version of "The Princess and the Pea".
When he was 17, he started his own company called Nightmare Hallow Halloween Haunts, specializing in building custom props and animatronics.
Daniel has a half sleeve, collage, tattoo of different items in Disneylands The Haunted Mansion ride.
